Here at Maine Hempworks we believe in giving back to the community. 

With the purchase of this charity package we’ll donate 100% of the profit to the groups which the product is made for. 

Our first charity product, Believe was created in 2016 for Caryn Pillsbury, co-owner Keith’s sister, who survived a stroke at the age of 29. The charity of her choice was the American Stroke Association. In 2018, we decided to donate to two more charities that were near and dear to other people we care about. Those two charities were, Autism Society of Maine, which helped Brian Thompson get his son who has autism, the help he needed, and MitoAction, a charity Sheridan Johnston has been active with since being diagnosed with mitochondrial disease in 2008.

We also make a yearly donation of products to Preble Street, who’s mission is to provide accessible barrier-free services to empower people experiencing problems with homelessness, housing, hunger, and poverty, and to advocate for solutions to these problems. These are certainly problems we believe need to be addressed and support Preble Street with soaps and balms.
